HOWEVER... please remember that you can download both Kindle and Nook Readers onto your tablets or phones, free of charge, so you can enjoy the books even in you don't have a "Kindle" or "Nook." You don't have to buy every book you want to read! Local Libraries are usually well-stocked, and with interlibrary loans, you can get just about any book you'd like to read. If you have a membership to a library in maine, chances are you can use that account to sign into the Maine infonet download library. it's a place that's open for checkout 24/7. both ebooks and audio books are available. if you're a maine reader, you should definitely sign in and see what's available!
IF YOU DON'T LIVE IN MAINE, ALMOST EVERY STATE HAS THIS TYPE OF DIGITAL LIBRARY AVAILABLE. DO A GOOGLE SEARCH FOR "OVERDRIVE" AND THE NAME OF YOUR STATE. YOU SHOULD FIND A LINK THAT WORKS WITH YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY CARD!
